DINNER TABLE
A table is often used for more than one purpose. By designing the table for a single purpose it will take on its own specific form and will become decorative in its surroundings. In this design a dinner table was chosen, and was set accordingly for four people to etiquette. Personal space is created for every piece of tableware that belongs in a four course meal. The unused spaces in the tabletop have been removed, and the remaining shapes were combined together. This has created not only an almost flower like pattern, but also gives the necessary strength to the tabletop. The open spaces reveal parts of the steel calyx shaped construction underneath the table. The experience of dining at this piece is intensified, and when the table is not set for dinner there is enough space for relaxation and aesthetic pleasure. The Dinner table is a handmade unique product and can be adjusted to your own desires (wood and colour).
